Vintage Hardback Journal - 'Open Road'

A vintage journal, or notebook made using the cover of an old hardback book.

This is a unique, hand-stitched journal made with high quality archival, acid-free cartridge paper suitable for using as a notebook or a for drawing. I use quality 130gsm Snowdon cartridge paper, so the books can be used for drawing if desired.

This notebook is 11cm x 20cm in size, and has approximately 220 pages. The cover is in green bookcloth with black lettering on the spine and with an illustration on the front cover; the pages are blank. The original book was published in 1934. My 'Maple Tea' logo is letterpressed into the back flyleaf, and is also debossed into the front cover without ink.

I only use vintage books whose pages were previously damaged or missing.
